We are Di & Derek Drew and Paintingactivities.com is the web presence of our company Wordwrite Associates. We offer a series of varied painting activities at very special locations across Europe and the United Kingdom.

We will be pleased to welcome you on one our friendly activity breaks and we go out of our way to ensure you have a enjoyable and above all, a memorable, holiday.

As Interests Abroad, we have been running tutor-led week-long art holidays in stunning locations off the tourist track in Tuscany and the Loire Valley for several years and a measure of our success is the number of referrals and returners we are glad to welcome.

Our portfolio of locations has extended to the French Alps and the Limousin and in the UK to Shorland Old Farm on lovely Exmoor.

Each of our team of tutors is respected in their field as working artists and is qualified to teach all abilities in all media. Eager to pass on their enthusiasm for the arts, they are as happy to introduce painters to new techniques as to provide guidance to experienced artists. They never forget their students are spending a holiday following a passion and although the end of each week customarily is celebrated by an informal exhibition of the work produced, the days are relaxed and include visits, sketchbook walks and a daily constructive critique. At the same time we know artists are as keen to paint as to go sightseeing so we seek to offer a balanced programme aimed at achieving a balance between the two.
